The "N E R V E" facade portrays the integrated intelligent city of the i-City. With the total development of 12 million square feet, the city comprises of residentials, office suites, commercials, and entertainment park. The mixed-development of the i-City have become the catalyst for making Selangor as an internationally renowned state.
The facade interpreted the image of the i-City as a vibrant city. The solid looking white cladding during the day is representing the integrity of the city with the pink-purplish “nerve” as a significant feature of the facade design, grab attention from the federal highway. Impulsive led lighting of the nerves to create an animated facade at night while the light from within cast an abstract animated shadow on the skin.
The material strategy is the usage of a white perforated metal sheet as the main clad, allows the breeze to flow through while giving a solid effect surface. The simple construction of the metal frame, with the perforated metal cladding, making this as an economic facade solution with a grandeur outlook.
