This Catalogue brings together some of the outputs and activities of the Architecture design studios here at Liverpool School of Art & Design. LJMU students develop propositions that address real world issues many of which emanate from our associations with cultural and civic institutions in this city and the thematically focused research activities of our staff. This has been a fertile year for external engagement. This day of presentations and debate addressed the future of the Mersey waterfront in comparison with our case studies. It influenced many of the BA & MArch thesis projects situated in and around Liverpool's abandoned North Docks.
